AN ELEGANT WATER FILTER PITCHER THAT CELEBRATES THE ACT OF FILTERING AND POURING, INSPIRING MOMENTS OF PAUSE AND APPRECIATION IN EVERYDAY LIFE.
Challenge
Design a water-filtering pitcher for Kinto that not only fulfills its functional purpose but also seamlessly aligns with the brand’s design language and existing SKUs.
Insight
In today’s fast-paced world, moments of pause are rare. Through research and observation, I found that daily rituals like brewing tea or pouring water can serve as grounding experiences. The pitcher became an opportunity to extend this mindset. Instead of just filtering water, it could embody a gentle prompt to slow down and enjoy the simplicity of the task at hand.
Status - Concept
Impact
The result was OSOI, a filter pitcher that sits comfortably within Kinto’s brand language while elevating a routine action into a mindful ritual. Its quiet presence encourages the user to pause, pour, and stay present, transforming a glass of water into a small but meaningful moment of stillness.
