Hello,
I'm Krishna Pranav

Industrial designer by profession, I move beyond the traditional role by taking a multidisciplinary approach to my work, wearing many hats in business, engineering, and design , sometimes all at once!
I have close to 3 years of work experience, primarily in consumer tech, but I love exploring different domains to expand my skills as a designer. Previously held roles at Desmania Design, Jio Tesseract and Ubicquia inc. I'm an Indian by birth but now based in Pittsburgh. I’m currently pursuing my master’s at Carnegie Mellon University.
Below, you’ll find a section where I explore my interests, get involved in the community, and collect experiences that stretch my perspective well beyond the day job.

Anuj Prasad,
Founder & CEO, Desmania Design
"Krishna joined Desmania as a fresh graduate, but it was clear early on that he brought more than just design skills. He handled multiple projects across industrial equipment, consumer goods, and packaging, often leading them end-to-end. His work on 'Haber’s Elixa' especially showcased his ability to manage client relationships and deliver strong design outcomes under pressure.”

Ashish Gupta,
Former Director of ID, Jio Tesseract.
"During his time at Jio Tesseract, Krishna not only delivered key contributions to JioDive and JioGlass, but also brought a methodical and collaborative approach to solving complex design challenges. His hands-on execution across prototyping, testing, and final production made him an invaluable asset to the team."

Volunteered with marginalized communities, improving tech infrastructure and mentoring children.
Practicing over 8 years, I’ve performed beatboxing at events and embraced it as a personal form of expression.
Love talking about how unconscious body postures affect movement and exercise performance.
Part of the QLU wellness community, where I joined a 3-week Carl Jung–based workshop and volunteered as a support guide for participants.
I find joy in performing and expressing through the body, and have showcased at the Gender-Bender Festival in Bangalore, India.
Collaborated with Industree Foundation to research the Kui tribe and design solutions that addressed systemic challenges and improved their livelihood.
Framing subjects is an incredibly intriguing process that I truly enjoy exploring
